Thank You!

We had our very first school fundraiser Friday night, and despite being small in number, we consider the evening to have been a great success! Firstly, the music we enjoyed was excellent. The song selection was beautiful, the musicians used their God-given talents for His glory, and our hearts were thankful for the gift of music.

Secondly, we raised over $1300! This money will help us to cover part of the costs of a lawyer, and we will be able to give one of our students a $150 bursary. This could not have been possible without the generosity of both those who donated and those who came.

Specifically, we’d like to thank the following people:

Darren and Brooke Roberts, who led the music team beautifully. Thank you also to Katie Kloosterman, Malachi Mcaveney, Matthew Madio, and Caleb Hunt. The time you all gave to practicing and refining was evident, and the end result was enjoyed by all.

Jeremy Boyd, for working the sound system. The band has given you much credit!

Pastor Jason Belgrave from Westmount Bible Chapel, for allowing us the use of their facilities for the concert.

Mel Inglis and Bryon Samis for the beautiful artwork donated to our silent auction.

Chance Faulkner Photography for the one-hour portrait session he donated.

H&E Publishing for their donation of books.

Sally Marie Wellness for her donation of a natural bath and body gift basket.

Silver Bean Café, for their donation of “Lunch for Two” to our raffle.

Katelin Kingsley, for making lovely cookies with the school’s name on them.

Thank you to everyone who came. We were encouraged by each of you, and we hope to continue to partner with you for Christian education in the Kawarthas.

As we continue to work toward the launch of KCCS this fall, we are reminded of the greatness of our God, who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

To Him be glory.
